COSTS AND FINANCING

The course is free, requiring no fees.

The PPGRI awards scholarships from Brazilian funding agencies to students following pre-defined criteria. Approval in the selection process fails to guarantee a scholarship.

Students may directly apply for scholarships at the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). The Foundation’s website contains the rules for scholarship applications.

We suggest that students follow the notices of the Vice-Presidency for Graduate Studies of Unesp regarding socioeconomic aid and other types of support.

STUDENT LIFE AND SUPPORT

The Program has classrooms, video-conferencing and thesis and dissertation defense rooms, a small auditorium, a simulated practices laboratory, and a library, whose librarian assists students in researching and standardizing dissertations and theses. The IPPRI building has no university restaurant, only a small cafeteria for students who want to bring their own food. Program rooms are available for students to carry out research activities.

International students can count on the support of the Program Coordination and the Administrative Technical Section of IPPRI/Unesp for academic guidance. It is also possible to obtain psychological support by the Unesp Health Coordination.

Costs in the municipality of São Paulo may vary according to students’ standard of living and the region in which they chose to live. We suggest some prior research to learn more about the municipality.
